Position Overview

As a Production Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the production environment. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage the production teams, inspect work areas daily, investigate customer complaints, and carry out audits. Your proactive approach and dedication to maintain high standards will contribute to our client’s ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth running of the production environment.
  • Monitor stock levels, material supply, and material utilisation.
  • Conduct monthly safety audits and compile comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Respond to customer complaints and identify root causes effectively.
  • Provide monthly reports on key parameters of the role.
  • Ensure an effective control of resources to agreed guidelines.
  • Carry out staff appraisals, discuss performance parameters and plan training requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 'O' Level/GCSE standard or NVQ Level 3 qualification in people management or team leading.
  • Minimum 2 years team management experience in a production facility
  • Good level of numeracy and proficiency in MS office software
    -Self-motivated, assertive, and persuasive.
