Senior Quality Assurance Technologist.

Location: Essex 
Role Overview: The role will play a key part in ensuring that all suppliers deliveries are met with agreed specification. You’ll assist the Technical Manager in keeping customer complaints at a minimum whilst collaborating with the wider teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits against BRC standards.
• Ensure quality control is consistently adhered to including sampling products, scheduling and ensure all specification requirements are correctly followed.
• Collaborate with wider teams including the operations teams to ensure standards are being held across the entire site.
• Support technical teams and technical compliance when required.
• Play a leading role in ensuring the site is always audit ready.
• Complete customer format specifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of the UK food industry as a QA.
• Degree in food science or nutrition or equivalent experience
• Excellent attention to detail, methodical and well-organised.
• Appreciation of requirements to developing high quality food service & retail products.
• Works well in a small team and uses initiative to drive activities independently. 
• Confident written and verbal communication skills needed to work in an international environment.
• Enjoys completing complex projects and seeing tasks through to completion.
