Overview: Are you a seasoned Interim Senior Engineering Manager with a proven track record of transforming underperforming teams? Do you have extensive experience in managing engineering functions across multiple sites? If so, we have an interim opportunity that could be the perfect fit for you.

Contract Length: 12 months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Industry: Food Manufacturing

About the Role:

As Interim Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving change and enhancing operational efficiency across our engineering teams. You will lead and mentor teams, implementing strategies to improve performance, boost productivity, and ensure engineering operations align with the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and transform underperforming engineering teams across multiple food manufacturing sites.
  • Bring an underperforming team together.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise engineering processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance in all engineering activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineering Manager within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong track record of successfully transforming underperforming teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Multisite management experience is essential, with the ability to effectively lead and coordinate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and industry regulations related to food manufacturing.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.

 

This role is offering a day rate of £500-650/day depending on experience, outside IR35.
