Quality Assurance Manager.

Location: South Yorkshire

Overview: The role has a responsibility of the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the factory is always compliant and audit ready.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       The Quality Assurance Manager will lead regular shift handovers and hold quality meetings with your team

·       Make sure shifts are covered with the correct skills when there are holidays

·       Monitor KPIs and present weekly to see where improvements can be made

·       Support technical teams and technical compliance when required.

·       Play a leading role in ensuring the site is always audit ready

·       Understand, implement and review quality systems in the production area to an agreed standard

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·       As QA Manager, you will need experience of the UK food industry as a QA Supervisor or Manager in a similar role

·       Excellent attention to detail, methodical and well-organised

·       Up to date knowledge of food legislation

·       Works well in a small team and uses initiative to drive activities independently. 

·       Excellent computer knowledge in both Excel and Word

·       Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
