Overview: This would suit a Sales Manager who can expand existing accounts and quickly win new business. You’ll be working with an impressive list of existing customers within the UK food manufacturing market.

The Candidate:

  • Proven background selling ingredients into food manufacturers across the UK.
  • Understanding the technical requirements within food manufacturing, whether this be from a food science or culinary point of view is hugely advantageous. 
  • This would suit someone with a senior sales background from a big hitter that supplies ingredients to the UK food manufacturing market.
  • Candidate must be able to give strong examples of listings won and YOY growth.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK to apply.

 

The Role:

  • Increasing volume, market share and profitability of the business.
  • Successfully winning new business.
  • Proactively manage Key Accounts, including client visits, gap identification, identifying product issues the customer is having.
  • Management of all development projects inclusive of project pipeline to support new business in line with customer requirements and development brief guidelines.
  • Develop consumer marketing plans for the products in line with the business’s overall strategy.
  • Leading customer presentations for the business in conjunction with Culinary and NPD.
