Location: Deeside Overview: Working for a successful FMCG manufacturer you will be reporting to the Site Services Manager, working on the factory floor on a rotating shift pattern. Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days only)   Key responsibilities ·       You will be part of a team that that is responsible for all maintenance of the site including refrigeration, steam boilers, air compressors, water and effluent services etc. ·       Improve the fabrication and ensure working areas are kept in best condition. ·       Provision and implementation of solutions in line with the site engineering strategy to reduce downtime. ·       Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance. ·       Continual commitment to a PPM culture ·       Carry out manual work, including working at heights. ·       Establish a productive working relationship with the rest of the engineering department. ·       Compliance with all health and safety, Food safety, quality, and hygiene standards ·       Highlighting opportunities for improvements in the maintenance plan and/or failure of components   Qualifications & Experience  ·       You will be qualified to NVQ / City or Guilds or equivalent standard. ·       Experience within FMCG manufacturing, specifically within maintenance. ·       Beneficial if you’ve worked on sensors, cylinders, pumps, chillers, ventilation etc.   ·       You will have a mechanical maintenance bias to be successful in this role. ·       A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop as there is considerable opportunity for development within the engineering function.   Application Process: If you are an accomplished Site Services Engineer with a passion for operational excellence and a desire to contribute to the success of a prominent FMCG manufacturing business, we invite you to apply. Shifts: 4 on 4 off Rotating days and nights   Key responsibilities: ·       You will be part of a team that ensures smooth running of all machinery in the production area. ·       Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities. ·       Provision and implementation of solutions in line with the site engineering strategy to reduce downtime. ·       Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance. ·       Continual commitment to a PPM culture ·       Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech equipment ·       Fault finding, repairs and maintenance on high speed, automated machinery ·       Compliance with all health and safety, Food safety, quality, and hygiene standards ·       Highlighting opportunities for improvements in the maintenance plan and/or failure of components   Qualifications & Experience  ·       You will be qualified to NVQ / City or Guilds or equivalent standard. ·       Experience within FMCG manufacturing. ·       Although this isn’t essential, it’s beneficial if you have an IEE 18th Edition. ·       Fault finding on high-speed automated manufacturing equipment ·       Beneficial if you’ve worked on conveyor systems, PLC controlled machines, spiral chillers etc. ·       Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical/mechanical skill base. ·       A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop as there is considerable opportunity for development within the engineering function   Application Process: If you are an accomplished Multi-Skilled Engineer with a passion for operational excellence and a desire to contribute to the success of a prominent FMCG manufacturing business, we invite you to apply. Location: Lancashire Overview: Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Systems Manager to strengthen the team and future proof the factory on a 12 month fixed term contract.   The Candidate: ·       A self-motivated individual you will be working to achieve best in class food safety and quality standards. ·       You will have an in-depth knowledge of food safety and quality systems. ·       Be qualified to a minimum of level 3 HACCP ·       Advanced problem-solving ability ·       Experience of working in food manufacturing.   The Role: ·       Reporting to the Technical Manager you will have a key part to play in delivering improvements to foreign body and allergens. ·       Maintenance of all the quality systems. ·       Supporting the site audits as and when required. ·       Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.   Company Overview: The company is a major player in their sector and is a multi-site business.
